Два свидетеля ехали через всю страну из Миссури и, проезжая холм по шоссе I-70, увидели в небе два огонька. Их обоих сразу привлекли огни, и они подумали, что это был просто самолет.
Один из свидетелей прокомментировал размер самолета, учитывая, насколько далеко друг от друга находились огни. Они продолжали смотреть и поняли, что он не двигается.
Один из них сказал, что это, должно быть, вышка с авиационным маяком, но, продолжая ехать, они поняли, что она находится прямо над шоссе и не движется. Все, что они видели, - это два огонька, пока они не оказались прямо перед ним и не заметили, что это был очень плоский объект цилиндрической формы серого цвета. Summary: The two witnesses were driving across country from Missouri and as they drove over a hill on I-70 they saw 2 lights in the sky. They were both immediately drawn to the lights and they assumed it was just a plane. One of the witnesses commented on the size of the plane considering how far apart the lights were. They kept watching and realized that it was not moving. One of them said that it must be an aircraft beacon tower but as they kept driving they realized that it was directly above the highway and it was not moving. All they saw was two lights until they were directly in front of it and noticed that it was a very flat cylindrical-shaped object sort of gray in color. They were both mesmerized by the object and everything seemed to stand still. It had previously been very windy but as they were underneath the craft the wind suddenly stopped, there didn’t seem to be any weather or temperature. Neither of them was paying attention to driving and just stared upward at the craft. In the middle of the craft there was a dome and inside a flashing red light in the center. At this point their memories became confused and their next memory was of being a few miles away. At this point they noticed that there were a lot of lights in the sky and they could still see the UFO behind them. The new lights turned out to be a swarm of Army helicopters that were all formed together throughout the sky and were headed towards the UFO. They watched the UFO sit there for a second and then suddenly shoot up straight into the sky, it shot back and forth as if toying with the helicopters. The men then pulled over and got a hotel room after the UFO left. An hour later they saw Apache helicopters in the sky in the place where the UFO had been. They also noticed numerous police cruisers zooming up and down the highway that night. One of the men found what appeared to be a bruise on his face and both felt nauseous and experienced terrible migraines. One of the men could not sleep for three nights straight after the incident. That same night both men also reported hearing very “unnatural things” in the air all night, sounds that they had never heard before and could not explain. Listings of phone calls made from their cellphones made after 2200 had mysteriously been deleted and 1/2 tank of gasoline was somehow gone from the vehicle.
