Alrededor de las 11:20 pm, el residente de Dowling, W. H., estaba afuera mirando el cielo lleno de estrellas cuando una extraña luz apareció de la nada ...
"Como cuando enciendes las luces", dijo.
Estaba en la parte occidental del cielo, a aproximadamente 3/4 de la altura del horizonte. Luego se volvió más brillante y más grande y se apagó. Donde la luz desapareció, apareció otra luz que era mucho más pequeña que la estrella. Esta segunda luz se fue un poco a la derecha en un ángulo de 45° y desapareció.
La observación duró unos 5 segundos.

At around 11:20 p.m., Dowling resident VH was outside looking at the star-studded sky when, out of nowhere, appeared a strange light...'as you turn a light on,' he said. It was in the western part of the sky, about 3/4 of the way up from the horizon. Then, it got brighter and bigger and went out. Where the light disappeared, another light appeared, which was a lot smaller than a star. This second light went away slightly to the right at a 45 angle and vanished. The sighting lasted about 5 seconds.
