Datos iniciales

Descripción adicional de la observación:
Mi esposo notó por primera vez este objeto brillante, que al principio pensamos que era una estrella realmente brillante, pero demasiado cerca para convertirse en una estrella unos días antes. Solo lo miramos con nuestros ojos y nos quedamos sobre las copas de los árboles durante 30 a 40 minutos, y luego simplemente desaparecieron.
Esta noche, 12 de septiembre de 2010, reapareció en el mismo lugar entre las 19:45 y las 20:20. Esta vez, llevé la cámara de video afuera para verla de cerca.
Cuando me acerqué, fue extraño. Al principio parecía una luz brillante muy blanca, luego se convirtió en un círculo blanco con rojo en el centro. Cuando observamos en la cámara, cambió de forma. Era casi como si estuviera dividido por un anillo rojo alrededor del centro. Al acercar la lente, pudimos ver que se movía más de lo que podíamos ver a simple vista. Luego, durante unos tres segundos, el objeto se dividió en dos objetos separados. Luego fuimos juntos de nuevo como uno. Y, sin embargo, la rareza de las cosas cambia una y otra vez para parecer una especie de estiramiento con una banda roja en el centro.
Lo mejor que viene a la mente cuando toma esa forma es un sonajero para bebés con dos bolas en el extremo y un pequeño asa en el medio.
Mi esposo tuvo que irse para escapar a Alabastro, Alabama, que está a unas diez millas de distancia. Dijo que lo vio cuando se alejó del área arbolada en la que vivimos.
Lo observó mientras conducía hacia Alabastro, y todavía estaba a una distancia al sur de él en esa dirección. Luego dijo que estaba parado en el estacionamiento y lo miró, y simplemente desapareció, no se movió, simplemente desapareció.

We looked at it with just our eyes and stayed over the tree tops for 30 to 40 minutes then just disappeared. Tonight, September 12, 2010 it appeared again at the exact same location between 7:45pm and 8:20pm. This time I took my camcorder outside to view in on a closer look. As I zoomed in, it was weird. It at first appeared just a very white bright light, then it changed into a white circle with red in the center. As we watched through the camera, it changed shape. It was almost as if it divided itself with a red ring around the center. With the lens zoomed in on it, we were able to see that it was moving more so than we could see with our naked eyes. Then for about three seconds the object divided itself into two separate objects. Then went together as one again. And still the strangeness of the thing changing over and over again to look like a stretching of some sort with a red band in the center. The best thing that comes to mind when it took this shape was like a baby rattle with two balls on the end and a smaller handle in the middle. My husband had to leave to run to Alabaster, Alabama, which is approximately ten miles away. He said he could see it on his way out of the treed area we live in. He watched it as he drove to Alabaster and it was still in the distance to the South of him back in this direction. Then, he said he stood in the parking lot watching it and it just disappeared, not moving, just vanished. I have this documented on video and my whole family stood and watched in amazement. I would like to know if any other people in the vacinity of adjacent towns of Montevallo, Alabaster and here in Calera saw this object.
