El testigo dejó al perro en el patio trasero y, como siempre, miró las estrellas. Se da cuenta de que parte del cielo está oscurecido y al principio no entiende por qué.
Luego vio las ventanas en el barco y dos personas o criaturas que lo miraban directamente. Estaban tan cerca que podía ver que uno de ellos llevaba una gorra de béisbol o algo así. La criatura saludó al testigo mientras pasaba.
El testigo estaba tan aturdido que no hizo nada más que sentarse y mirar. Escuchó un zumbido y pensó que "debería ser un barco de reconocimiento de la fuerza aérea".

Summary: The witness had left the dog out on the backyard and looked up at the stars like he always did. He notices that part of the sky was blacked out and at first it didn’t register why. Then he noticed the windows in the craft and two people or beings looking right at him. They were so close that he could see that one was wearing a baseball style cap or what appeared to be one. The being waved at the witness as it passed over. The witness was so stupefied to do anything but sit there and watch. He could hear a buzz of some kind and thought that it “must be an Air Force recon ship”.
