Un testigo salió con sus perros a las 8 pm del 11 de junio de 2015, cuando el objeto fue visto por primera vez.
"Vi un avión en forma de triángulo con tres luces pulsantes blancas flotando, luego moviéndose lentamente hacia el noreste, luego las luces se apagaron y la nave desapareció".

El video muestra tres luces blancas parpadeantes en las tres esquinas de la nave. El testigo también proporcionó un cuadro del objeto. El caso fue reportado por MUFON el 20 de junio de 2015 y fue investigado por el investigador de campo de mufon de Carolina del Norte, Sanford Davis. El caso fue cerrado por Davis como desconocido.
"Cuatro días después, dos testigos vieron otro triángulo a 50 millas de distancia en el caso # 66524", dijo Davis en su informe. Davis declaró que el objeto en el video "parece militar, tal vez sea un avión de diseño negro, un triángulo negro, una especie de Astra, TR3B".
En el caso 66524, un testigo cerca de Gastonia, Carolina del Norte, notó un triángulo negro con luces intermitentes. Un testigo declaró que el objeto había recorrido 150 millas en menos de un minuto. David también cerró el caso como"Desconocido".

Summary: The witness stepped outside with his dogs at 8 p.m. on June 11, 2015, when the object was first seen. “I saw a triangle-shaped aircraft with three white, pulsating lights hovering – and then moving slowly northeast and then the lights went off and the craft disappeared.” The witness has a military background. “I’m a former navy rescue, so I know all about aircraft warning lights and I’ve never seen anything like that in the military.” The video shows what appears to be three white, blinking lights at three corners of the craft. The witness also provided one still shot of the object. The case was reported to MUFON on June 20, 2015, and was investigated by North Carolina MUFON Field Investigator Sanford Davis. The case was closed by Davis as an Unknown. “Four day later, another triangle was spotted by two witnesses 50 miles away in Case # 66524,” Davis stated in his report. Davis stated that the object in the video “looks military, perhaps some type of black project plane, a black triangle, a variation of the Astra, TR3B.” In Case 66524, a witness near Gastonia, NC, spotted a black triangle with blinking lights. The witness stated that the object traveled 150 miles in less than one minute. David also closed this case as an Unknown. “In the last few months, there have been numerous sightings in and around the Charlotte area,” David stated.
