Dos testigos fueron al parque local después de la puesta del sol, lo que se consideró una violación de la propiedad ya que el parque estaba cerrado antes de la puesta del sol. Al pasar por los árboles que custodiaban el campo, notaron que la hierba estaba cubierta con algo así como una envoltura o transparente, como una niebla que se elevaba a unos dos pies (0,6 m) sobre ella.
Mientras caminaban hacia el centro del campo, uno de los hombres notó que algo se movía frente a los árboles en el otro extremo del campo a unos 500 pies (150 m) de distancia. Al acercarse, vio una figura blanca de movimiento lento de unos 5-6 pies (1,5-1,8 m) de altura. No era exactamente caminar y no tenía ninguna definición real. Cuanto más se acercaban, más parecía un fantasma. El primer testigo aceleró el paso, seguido por su amigo. No podía entenderlo.
Al finalizar el paso, se escuchó un fuerte chillido, como si la criatura sacara aire de sus pulmones y emitiera un sonido de "I-u-u-u-u-u". Luego, un testigo vio a una criatura gris de dos pies (0,6 m) de altura y media altura que se elevaba de 10 a 15 pies (3-4, 5 m) en el aire justo en frente de la figura blanca. En forma y movimiento, le recordó a un mono. Volvió a hacer ruido.
Ambos testigos en estado de shock gritaron y huyeron de la escena, el primer testigo tropezó con un hoyo en el campo, su amigo corrió hacia atrás para ayudarlo cuando lo hizo, ambos hombres observaron cómo una figura ahora muy blanca o "sudadera" sobre el Suelo se movía.
Luego observaron cómo una formación de niebla similar a una serpiente se arrastraba por el campo frente a ellos. Uno de los testigos caminó varios pies y nuevamente escuchó un extraño chillido proveniente del medio del campo.

Summary: Two witnesses had gone to the local park after sundown, which was considered trespassing since the park was closed before sundown. As they walked by the trees guarding the field they noticed that the grass had a sort of shroud or clear like fog hovering about two feet above it. As they walked to the center of the field one of the men noticed something moving in front of the trees on the other end of the field about 500 ft away. As he crept closer he could see a sort of white figure about 5-6 ft tall, moving slowly. It wasn’t exactly walking and it didn’t have any real definition to it. It sort look like an apparition the closer they got. The first witness quickened his pace, closely followed by his friend. He could not start to make it out. On completion of a step, there was a loud screech, like the creature forced the air out of its lungs and made an “eee-uuuungh” sound. The witness then saw a half erect, two-foot tall, gray creature fling up about 10-15 ft in the air right in front of the white figure. It reminded him of a monkey in shape and movement. It made the noise again. Both witnesses yell in shock and bolted from the area, the first witness tripped over a divot on the field, his friend ran back to help him as he did this both men watched the now very white figure or “shroud” above the ground move around. They then watched a serpent like formation of fog crawling across the field in front of them. One of the witnesses walked a few feet and again heard the strange screeching sound coming from the middle of the field. At this point both witnesses ran out the field as they did they heard the screeching sound several times again from behind the tree line.
