El testigo hacía autostop al este de la ciudad y caminaba cerca del paso elevado cuando escuchó un susurro de los arbustos cercanos.
Mirando a su alrededor, vio un humanoide delgado de color gris pálido bajo con enormes ojos negros y extremidades largas y delgadas. Sus manos terminaban en dedos muy largos y delgados.
La criatura se paró y miró al testigo durante unos momentos mientras el testigo intentaba apartar la vista, esperando que el humanoide no lo notara. El humanoide se agachó brevemente y luego se levantó de nuevo.
Cuando el testigo comenzó a irse, la criatura se zambulló a través de los arbustos y se sumergió en el agua. Ante el testigo, el humanoide lo miró de nuevo antes de desaparecer de la vista.

The witness had been hitch hiking east of town and was walking near an overpass when he heard some rustling noises coming from some nearby brush. Looking over, he saw a short pasty-gray thin humanoid creature with huge black eyes and long thin limbs. Its hands ended in very long skinny fingers. The creature stood and stared at the witness for a few moments, while the witness attempted to avert his gaze hoping the humanoid had not see him. The humanoid briefly crouched down and then stood up again. As the witness began to walk away the creature dove over the brush and into a wash. As the witness watched, the humanoid looked back at him one more time before disappearing from sight.
