Una brillante bola de luz vuela directamente sobre Zirndorf, Alemania. La fecha es aproximada, pero fue en febrero o marzo de 1975. Tenía 20 años y serví en el ejército.
Estaba en el cuartel Pinder en Zirndorf (oeste) Alemania. Zirndorf es un suburbio de Núremberg.
Acabábamos de terminar nuestra docena de la mañana y corríamos en fila cuando noté una bola de luz muy brillante a no más de 300 pies (90 m) frente a mí y unos 500 pies (150 m) hacia arriba. Era tan brillante que mis ojos tardaron unos segundos en ajustarse a la luz ambiental después de que desapareció de la vista.
No pude determinar el Tamaño o la forma, pero lo estimé a unos 50 pies (15 m) de diámetro. Simplemente parecía una bola de luz, brillante como el sol, sin ninguna forma discernible.
Cuando lo vi por primera vez, ya se movía hacia arriba a alta velocidad y desapareció después de unos 2-3 segundos. Grité: "¡Mira!"y lo señaló, solo para recibir una reprimenda del sargento mayor por hablar en las filas.

I was stationed at Pinder Barracks, Zirndorf, (West) Germany. Zirndorf is a suburb of Nuremburg. We had just finished our morning daily dozen and were running in formation when I noticed a very bright ball of light no more than 300 feet in front of me and about 500 feet up. It was so bright it took several seconds for my eyes to readjust to the ambient light after it disappeared from sight. I could not determine size or shape but estimate it to be about 50 feet in diameter. It just appeared to be a ball of light as bright as the sun with no distinguishable shape. When I first saw it, it was already moving straight up at a high rate of speed and disappeared in about 2 to 3 seconds. I shouted, “Look!” and pointed toward it, only to be reprimanded by the sergeant in charge for talking in ranks. I asked a few people, but if anyone else saw it, they did not say anything to me.
