El informe de segunda mano cuenta cómo una noche un hombre desconocido de "alta posición social" salió a su Jardín. El Jardín que rodea las paredes altas.
En el otro extremo, vio un objeto en forma de huevo, de aproximadamente dos metros de largo, de color blanco brillante, que descansa horizontalmente en el Suelo.
Aturdido, de repente vio a dos criaturas muy pequeñas, de aproximadamente un pie y medio (0,4 m) de altura, que se movían alrededor del objeto con un andar mecánico, asemejándose a robots.
Llamó a su hermana y esposa, quienes, ante este espectáculo, gritaron y corrieron de regreso a la casa, llevándose al caballero con él.
A la mañana siguiente, inspeccionó el lugar y encontró rastros muy pequeños cerca de donde estaba el objeto, moviéndose en una sola dirección, hasta el pie de la pared del Jardín donde se habían detenido. Parte de la vegetación cerca del sitio de siembra estaba chamuscada.

Summary: A second hand report describes how an unidentified man of “high social standing” had gone out into his garden one evening. High walls surround the garden. At the far end he saw an egg shaped object of approximately two meters length, luminous white in color, resting horizontally upon the ground. Stupefied, he suddenly observed two very small beings of about 1.5 ft tall moving about the object with a mechanical gait, suggesting robots. He summoned his sister and his wife who, confronted by the sight, screamed and ran back to the house, taking the gentleman with them. Next morning he examined the site and found very small footprints near the spot where the object had rested, moving away in one direction only, toward the foot of the garden wall, where they stopped. Some vegetation near the landing site was seared.
