Initial data
Romanyuk D.V. and a group of tourists- students of Yaroslavl university . the university.
At the end of February and beginning of March 1979, part of the students of the F-32 group (Yaroslavl State University university) I was on a hiking trip from Danilovo to Rybinsk.
On March 1, between 21 and 22 hours, these tourists, while in the village of Bolshye Dikushi (Poshekhonsky district, Yaroslavl region), observed a phenomenon in the cloudless starry sky that attracted their attention.
An object very similar to a comet flew to the southwest, the trajectory of which passed over the village. The plume from the object had the shape of a cone with a solution of about 30 °, which was blown away by the wind to the left. The phenomenon had a yellowish color "like a light bulb." The top of the cone was characterized by a stronger glow. The plume slowly dissipated in the sky. The phenomenon was noticed when the top of the cone was at an altitude of 30-40 degrees. He slowly moved towards the horizon, at about the speed of a parachutist, and after 7-10 minutes disappeared behind the forest.
No sound or light phenomena were observed.
Tourists tried to see the phenomenon through binoculars, but did not provide any details.
The described object attracted the attention of eyewitnesses with its extraordinary, beautiful sight.
Hypotheses
Booster, the rocket and tracks

For UFOs often take stages of rockets, parts of space ships burning in the atmosphere, the launches of various missile technology for military purposes, etc., and traces from them. They attract attention mostly in the dark, but in the day time have a greater aura of mystery.
Formation of the track of the launch vehicle occurs in the tropopause (the layer between the troposphere and stratosphere), which sharply reduced the vertical temperature gradient. The emergence of the so-called "jellyfish" influenced by water vapor, which are subject to enhanced condensation.
