I read the article "Equally at 4.10" in the Work and I want to share my observations, because I also saw a similar picture.
It was in late August-early September 1984 at 10-11 pm in Leningrad. I observed the same picture at home from the balcony of the 7th floor, facing the South.
In the beginning, some fiery flashes appeared, then a fireball appeared, which then receded, then approached. The ball was quite impressive in size (approximately like the bottom of a 200-liter barrel), when approaching this strange object (ball), it took the shape of a satellite. The ball constantly changed its shape, then it looked like a rocket, then like an airplane without wings. The ball was moving away, approaching or hanging motionless in the air, rays emanated from it in the form of searchlight rays or some kind of pulse. This spectacular sight was observed for 20-30 minutes, and then the ball gradually began to move away and disappeared. I could not explain such a riddle in any way, I was looking for an answer to my observations in the newspapers, but there were no reports in the newspapers, I asked friends, but no one saw anything.

For UFOs often take stages of rockets, parts of space ships burning in the atmosphere, the launches of various missile technology for military purposes, etc., and traces from them. They attract attention mostly in the dark, but in the day time have a greater aura of mystery.
Formation of the track of the launch vehicle occurs in the tropopause (the layer between the troposphere and stratosphere), which sharply reduced the vertical temperature gradient. The emergence of the so-called "jellyfish" influenced by water vapor, which are subject to enhanced condensation.
