Initial data
A local artist was painting on the roof of his apartment when he “felt” that someone was watching him.
Looking up, he saw a metal object in the shape of a handle or helmet the size of a car hovering directly above him. He could “see” one occupant, a "shrouded" figure, even though the object had no windows; this "vision “was a feeling, and the witness was actually sure that there were two such figures in the object, even though he could” see" only one. The object disappeared after about one or two seconds, the witness thinks in response to his gaze.
There was no hint that he had gone anywhere, he just instantly disappeared.
