I left Melbourne alone and, tired in the dusk, drove into a quiet caravan park. in the valley of the stream that runs down from Otways to the coast of Great Ocean Road.
I chose it because it looked less touristy and crowded. I can't remember the name, but I can remember if I saw the detailed map.
Oddly enough, Praen didn't want me to stay there ... I thought he would be happy with the business, there's only one family. I was afraid to drive on a dangerous road at night, so I begged to be left alone for one night. He reluctantly gave me the seat closest to the main entrance.
Another oddity was that a family with small children had disappeared during the day, although I didn't see any lights on in the other vans, nor did I hear any sound or smell of cooking. I thought maybe they were just day visitors, but I locked the door because it seemed strange.
My van was also strange, old-fashioned, neat, but it looked like it hadn't been used in a year. As the van for the filming.
The window at the back of the van, facing the valley, was permanently blocked. I slept under the full-size front window, millions of stars above the big city, framed by the edges of the valley, a narrow valley with flat grass and only a handful of wagons. Everything is empty except mine.
On the width of the valley opening to the sky, there was an object like a futon ball (for American football?)...
In the middle of the dead-quiet night, I was awakened by a very quiet buzzing vibration, I could feel it in my stomach. It became more intense and stronger. I had never heard anything like it and was terrified.
At the loudest moment, the windows vibrated, and I could feel it all over my body. Then I saw through the window a huge, very neat black figure with straight edges, completely blocking the stars across the entire width of the valley, moving slowly over my van, I literally froze with horror, it flew straight into the sea, taking the vibration with it.
My mind still can't figure out how gigantic it was or what it was. I was really very afraid that I would not be released after that, but in the morning I made a cheerful appearance and paid.
As I left, driven by curiosity, I asked if anyone had heard anything. He said no and turned away.

I chose it because it looked less touristy and crowded. Cant remember name but may recall if I saw detailed map. Weirdly, the guy didn’t seem to want me to stay there….would think he’d be glad of business, only one other family there.I was scared to drive the dangerous road at night so I pleaded just one night and out early, and he grudgingly gave me caravan closest to front entrance.The other odd thing was that family with young children disappeared in the afternoon, though I didn’t see any other van lights on or hear sound or smell cooking. I thought oh maybe they were just day visitors, but locked my door because it seemed odd. My van was odd too, old fashioned, tidy but like it hadn’t been stepped into for a year. Like a film set van.

In the middle of the deathly quiet night, a very low humming vibration woke me, I could feel it in my stomach. It got more and more intense and strong. I have never heard anything like it and was terrified. At its loudest point the windows were vibrating and I felt it in my whole body. I then saw out the window an immense very neat straight edged black shape blocking out the stars completely over entire width of valley, travelling slowly over my van, I was literally frozen with terror, it passed over and straight out to sea, taking the vibration with it. My mind still cant comprehend how gigantic it was, or what it was. I was actually really afraid I wouldn’t be let leave after that, but in the morning put on cheery face and paid. Driven by curiosity as I left I asked if anyone heard anything, No he said cutting me off and turned away. Most unfriendly man I thought, and what the hell did I see?!
