An eyewitness from the city of Leimuiden writes:

I was riding a motorcycle on a provincial road when I saw a flying light with a beam of light behind it. He walked from Westeinderplassen and went to Bollenstreek.

He was flying too fast for an airplane, because I understand that. I think the height was between 500/1000 meters!

I stopped to see what it was, but I couldn't see anything or hear a sound.

LEIMUIDEN, ZH — Ik reed met mijn motor op de provinciale weg toen ik een licht zag aan komen vliegen met een lichtstraal er achter. Het kwam van uit de richting van de westeinderplas en ging richting de Bollenstreek. Het ging veels te snel voor een vliegtuig want dat herken ik wel. Hoogte was denk tussen de 500/1000 meter denk ! Ik stopte om te kijken wat het was maar kon het niet zien, ook hoorde ik geen geluid.
