En ese momento, estaba caminando por el paseo marítimo y tomando fotos del paisaje, pero mis esperanzas de capturar las sutiles nubes rojas no se materializaron. se avecinaba una tormenta en el oeste, y aunque el pronóstico no daba ninguna posibilidad de lluvia, decidí tomar medidas e irme antes de que la tormenta continuara.
En el momento en que caminaba por el paseo marítimo fotografiando paisajes, algo brillante me llamó la atención. sobre la montaña, desde Sugar Head, se veía un objeto metálico con un acabado brillante, similar a un parachoques cromado.
La luz era tan brillante que tuve que cubrir mis ojos con mi mano. era como mirar un Flash de soldadura. en algún momento, el brillo comenzó a brillar salvajemente. Aunque es difícil decir exactamente qué es.
Observé este objeto durante más de dos minutos antes de darme cuenta de que no era un avión, ya que casi no se movía. Mi primer pensamiento fue tomar una foto de esto, pero tan pronto como apunté la cámara, la luz desapareció repentinamente. Todo lo que podía ver era un pequeño punto que apenas se podía ver y luego desapareció, simplemente nada. al final, no importaría, ya que mi cámara S200 con un Sensor de dos megapíxeles tiene una distancia focal máxima de 74 mm, lo que significa que no es capaz de disparar algo que está a más de dos kilómetros de distancia.

Summary: at the time i was walking along the waterfront snapping pictures of the scenery but my hopes to capture the wispy red clouds failed to take shape. a storm was developing in the west and though the forecast gave little chance for rain, i decided to take precautions and leave before the storm developed any further. at the time i was walking along the waterfront snapping pictures of the scenery when something shiny caught my eye. above the sugarloaf mountain was a metallic object with a high gloss like a chrome bumper. the light was so intense that i needed to shield my eyes with my hand. it was like staring at a welding flash. at one point the brightness began to flicker wildly. though it is hard to say exactly what it is. i watched this object for over two minutes before i realized that it’s no airplane since it barely moved at all. my first thought was to take a picture of it but just as i pointed the camera the light suddenly vanished. all i could see was a tiny dot barely visible then it was gone, just nothing. in the end it would not have mattered since my s200 camera with it’s two megapixel sensor has a max focal length of 74mm which means that it’s incapable of capturing something that is over two kilometers away.
