Se observó una luz en movimiento. Se vio una sola luz brillante que se movía lentamente de noroeste a sureste directamente sobre Salem, Oregón. Pero a medida que pasaba, parecía cambiar un poco de dirección en dirección este-sureste antes de empañarse, alcanzando 30 a 40 grados sobre el horizonte. Definitivamente no es un avión. Tal vez un satélite.
Pero cuando apenas se notó, permaneció así durante unos segundos antes de apagarse por completo. No como el objeto del que se refleja el sol, que debería haberse extinguido por completo de inmediato.
ADICIÓN DE MUFON / OREGON:
Probablemente vigilancia satelital. Esto se aplica a la observación informada anteriormente. Sobre la base de simulaciones por computadora de las órbitas satelitales de la "noche Estrellada", el cruce de la estación espacial Internacional ocurrió entre las 6:25 P. m.y las 6:31 P. m. en dicha noche. Esto coincide muy estrechamente con la observación de un testigo de Salem, Oregon.
Supongo que esta observación es una observación probable de la estación espacial Internacional. El informe dice que el incidente ocurrió a las 6 pm, pero no hay datos sobre cómo se confirmó la hora exacta.

Un grupo de luces voló sobre su cabeza muy rápido. Un hombre adulto llamó a la línea directa de Athens, Texas, para informar sobre la observación de la acumulación, que estimó que tenía alrededor de 60 luces en fila. Pasan muy rápido por encima, principalmente hacia el Norte y luego hacia el este. Estamos esperando el informe de los testigos.
11-28-04 a las 18:00 hora de Moscú, mi esposa y mi nieta estábamos conduciendo por la granja por las carreteras del mercado de aprox.a 25 millas de Atenas, cuando mi esposa notó una luz brillante en el cielo. Cambió de dirección al instante y desapareció, viajando de sur a Norte. continuamos y comenzamos a ver más luces, todas volando de sur a Norte. durante los siguientes 25 minutos, vimos unas dos docenas más. Volaron a diferentes alturas.
Nos detuvimos en un área de descanso en la carretera en la autopista 31 a 4 millas al oeste de Malakoff (Texas) cuando los instalamos, vimos que uno volaba a un lugar de descanso más bajo que cualquier otro barco. tenía la forma de dos triángulos conectados por extremos grandes, con luces blancas en cada esquina. en los extremos largos había una luz intermitente roja y una luz intermitente verde. Volaba de sur a Norte.
Observamos este aparato durante 25 a 30 segundos antes de que saliera del sitio. no había sonido. otros aviones que volaban lo suficientemente bajos como para poder distinguir cualquier objeto tenían la forma de un triángulo con tres luces blancas. En total, de 6 P. m.a 10 P. m., vimos unos 60 aviones volando de sur a Norte.
11-28-04 gracias de nuevo por llamarme. Todos nos alegramos mucho al saber que alguien más había sido visto esa misma noche. Dijiste que ella estaba en Lewisville, es decir, en la misma dirección que la nave que vimos, habría pasado volando si hubiera seguido por el mismo camino. ¡Qué interesante!
Después de ver el barco de bajo vuelo de doble triángulo en Malakoff, regresamos a nuestra casa en Atenas y tomamos mis binoculares. Como dije antes, continuamos viendo un tráfico aéreo muy intenso proveniente del sur que parecía estar a diferentes altitudes.
Fuimos al sur, luego me detuve en la autopista 287 en 488, otro avión voló hacia nosotros. Lo vi con binoculares. Mientras volaba, podía ver claramente un solo avión de forma triangular con una luz blanca en cada esquina y una luz roja intermitente en el extremo derecho.

Summary: A moving light observed – A single bright light was observed slowly traveling from the Northwest toward the Southeast directly over Salem, OR. But as it passed over, it seemed to change direction slightly toward the East-Southeast before dimming out as it reached 30-40 degrees above the horizon. Definitely not an aircraft. Possibly a satellite. But when it dimmed to barely visible it stayed that way for several seconds before going out completely; not like an object with the sun being reflected off of it, which should have dimmed out completely right away. ((ADDENDUM FROM MUFON/OREGON)) Probably satellite sighting This is in reference to the above previously reported sighting. Based on a “Starry Night” computer simulation of satellite orbits, a crossing of the International Space Station occurred from 18:25 to 18:31 on the night in question. This very closely coincides with the witness’ observation from Salem, Oregon. I am suggesting that this sighting is a _probable_ observation of the International Space Station. The report says the incident occurred at 18:00, but no data submitted as to how the exact time was confirmed. ((END ADDENDUM))

We had missed it on the first proof-reading of newly received reports. PD)) Witnesses to a cluster of lights passing overhead very quickly. An adult male call the Hotline from Athens, TX, to report the sighting of a cluster of what he estimated to have been some 60 lights in a formation. They pass overhead very quickly, passing generally north, and then to the east. We are awaiting a report from the witnesses.
11-28-04 At 6:00 pm cdt,me, my wife and my granddaughter were riding around on farm to market roads approx. 25 miles from athens tx when my wife noticed a bright light in the sky. it changed direction instantly and disappeared traveling south to north. we continued driving and began to see more lights,all flying south to north.during the next 25 minutes we saw around 2 dozen more.they were flying at different altitudes. we stopped at a roadside rest area on highway 31 4 miles west of malakoff tx. as we set their we seen one coming towards the rest area flying lower than any of the other craft. it was shaped like two triangles, big ends together,with a white light at each corner. on the long ends was a red blinking light and a green blinking light.it to was flying south to north. we viewed this craft for 25 to 30 seconds before it was out of site. there was no sound. the other aircraft that flew over low enough to see any detial were all shaped like a triangle with3 white lights.in all, from 6pm cdt to 10 p we saw approx 60 aircraft flying from south to north.
11-28-04 Thank you again for your telephone call to me. It trhilled us all to know someone else had a sighting the same night we did.You said she was in lewisville, tx which is in the same direction the craft we saw would have passed over if it continued on the same path. How interesting!After our sighting of the low flying double triangle craft at malakoff,tx we came back to our home in athens and got my binoculars. As i told you we continued to see extremely heavy air traffic coming in from the south appearing to be at different altitudes. We drove toward the south then i stopped off of highway 287 on 488, there was another aircraft coming toward us. I watched it with my binoculars. As it passed over i could clearly see a single triangle shaped aircraft with a white light on each corner and a red blinking light on the right tip.A green blinking light on the left The more i think about the aircraft at malakoff, if you took two of the single aircraft and connected them where there should be some kind of thrust output,then turned it sideways that would be exactly what i saw at the roadside park.I stated that the malakoff aircraft had 4 white lights, all the others had 3 lights, maybe when they docked with each other two of the lights on the rear are covered up by something.Then again maybe the single triangle aircraft were usaf stealth fighters following the aircraft i described at malakoff,tx.
