El 23 de junio, alrededor de las 19:00, el hijo de 15 años tomó algunas fotos de la nube. Cuando las imágenes se cargaron en la computadora, apareció un objeto anormal en dos de ellas. En uno, el objeto era muy pequeño y en el otro tenía forma de disco.
Debido a que el objeto parece moverse hacia abajo en un ángulo pronunciado, la madre de la familia concluyó que el objeto se estrelló contra el pantano. Tenía otras razones para creer que algo se había estrellado cerca.
Después de eso, escuchó el ruido durante tres de las cuatro noches. Ella describió los ruidos como sonidos agudos y chirriantes. También la madre observó lo que llamó un OVNI, que fue visto en el cielo del este durante varias noches, aproximadamente en el mismo lugar cada noche.
Unos días después de que se tomaron las imágenes, el hijo de un vecino es testigo de hombres vertiendo algo en el pantano. Según un testigo presencial, vestían trajes inusuales.
La madre también afirma que sus hijos vieron figuras brillantes de aproximadamente cuatro pies (1,2 m) de altura mientras pernoctaban en el patio trasero.

Summary: On June 23 around 1900 a 15-year old son took some pictures of a cloud formation. When the pictures were downloaded into the computer, an anomalous object appeared in two of them. The object was very small in one, but appears disc shaped in the other. Because the object appears to be headed downward at a steep angle, the mother of the family came to believe the object had crashed into the swamp. She also had other reasons for believing something had crashed nearby. First of all, she heard noises for three of four nights afterwards. She described the noises as high-pitched squeaky sounds. Also the mother observed what she called a UFO, which was visible in the eastern sky for several nights, at about the same spot every night. A few days after the pictures were taken, the neighbor’s son witnesses some men pouring something into the swamp. According to the witness, they were dressed in unusual suits. The mother also claims that her children have seen glowing figures approximately four feet tall when camping overnight in the backyard.
