Vivo en un Colorado urbano y en abril decidí ir a las montañas para pasear. Fui a un pequeño campamento en Colorado llamado buena vista. Iba a pasar solo 2 noches allí y decidí acampar junto a un estanque que estaba a una distancia de aproximadamente 75-100 pies (22.5-30 m). Acampé la primera noche y me quedé dormido. De repente me desperté con una luz roja brillante a la 1: 03.
Abrí la cremallera en la tienda y miré hacia afuera y encontré un disco rojo flotando sobre el estanque. Tenía aproximadamente 30 pies (9 m) de diámetro y 17 pies de altura. Parece que vio el agua girar y moverse por el estanque. Lo observé durante 1-2 minutos y luego volvió a volar hacia el cielo.
Me acosté de nuevo, conmocionado, y me quedé dormido, pensando que era un sueño. A la mañana siguiente, me desperté con terribles quemaduras en las partes expuestas del cuerpo. Pensé que estaba demasiado bronceado ayer. Me acerqué al estanque y me sorprendió encontrar 7-8 peces muertos. Pensé que era natural, pero miré más de cerca y descubrí que estaban quemados.
Mi corazón comenzó a latir y me fui y caminé por el resto del día. Más tarde esa noche, a las 11:09 pm, me desperté de nuevo con la misma luz roja y salí de mi tienda para ver el mismo objeto sobre el estanque. I live in Urban Colorado and decided in April to go to rough it out in the mountains. I took a drive to a small camping sight in Colorado called Buena Vista. I was only going to spend 2 nights there and decided to set camp next to the pond which was roughly 75-100 ft away. I set up camp for the first night and fell asleep. I suddenly woke up to bright red lights at 1:03 AM.
I unzipped my tent and peeked outside to discover a red disc hovering over the pond. It was roughly 30 ft in diameter and 17 ft high. It appeared to be observing the water turning and moving throughout the pond. I watched it for 1-2 minutes and then it shot back up into the sky.
I laid back down shaken and fell asleep thinking I was dreaming. The next morning I woke up with these awful burns on my exposed parts of my body. I thought I got too much sun yesterday and brushed it off. I walked over to the pond and was shocked to find 7-8 dead fish. I thought it was natural but I took a closer look to discover that they had been burned.
My heart began to beat and I just walked away and hiked for the rest of the day. Later that night at 11:09 PM I awoke to the same red lights again and looked out my tent to see the same object over the pond. I watched for another 1-2 minutes and this time it shot to the east. I was shaking an fell asleep. I woke up got in my car and noticed my burns had blistered. I drove away as fast as I could and never came back
