La testigo, como de costumbre, entregaba periódicos y su hijo la ayudaba. Todavía estaba muy oscuro. Después de tirar el papel en la Caja, se dirigió a la siguiente casa y notó que una camioneta blanca de último modelo se acercaba a ella.
Ella se fue a la acera y esperó a que pasara el camión. Ella afirma que en ese momento todo parecía lento. Cuando el camión pasó, parece que no había conductor. El pasajero se dio la vuelta y miró al auto. Ella dice que no era un movimiento natural, parecía que giraba todo su cuerpo para observarlos, en lugar de simplemente girar la cabeza.
El movimiento era tan antinatural que parecía que llevaba un traje de baño o una armadura que era difícil de mover. Asomándose a la luz de la calle a unos metros de distancia, no notó ningún cabello en su cabeza que pareciera más grande de lo normal, pero al mismo tiempo era más oscuro que la oscuridad que lo rodeaba. Summary: The witness was delivering newspapers as usual and had her son along with her to help out. It was still very dark. After dropping a paper into the box she began to driver forward to the next house and noted a late model white pick up truck coming up behind her. She pulled out onto the side of the road and waited for the truck to pass. She claims that everything seemed to be in slow motion at that point. As the truck passed there did not seem to be a driver. The passenger turned to look into the car. She says it was not a natural movement, it seemed to turn its entire body to watch them as it passed instead of just turning its head. The movement was so unnatural it was like it was wearing a full body scuba suit or a suit of armor that was difficult to move about in. Silhouetted in the street light a few yards up she saw no sign of hair on its head that seemed larger than normal, but at the same time it was darker than the darkness around it. Even as the truck passed under the streetlight the figure was still dark. The truck then turned onto a road that she claimed to be a dead end or a long road with no turn off. All this happened within a time space of about 30 seconds. She dropped a paper into the next box and then hesitantly turned down the same street to find that the truck had disappeared.
