Estaba fotografiando un arco iris doble justo después de una tormenta eléctrica. Tomé algunas fotos, alrededor de las 6. Estaba justo al otro lado de la calle del cometa y no noté el objeto mientras tomaba fotos. Recogí la cinta para exhibirla en el quiosco de una hora de Fox en Albuquerque, nuevo México.
Cuando revisé las fotos, vi este objeto en una sola foto. Tomé una foto en el Observatorio de manchas solares en nuevo México. Me dijeron que estaba a unos 500 pies (150 m) de la instalación. Me dijeron que el objeto se movía a al menos 500 millas por hora. Me dijeron que las sombras coinciden con todos los demás objetos de la foto.
Me dijeron que la cámara Kodak instamatic que estaba usando no podía ser falsificada. Me dijeron que no se lo mostrara a la gente porque podría meterme en problemas.
Fui a la base de la fuerza aérea de Kirtland, donde un amigo mío trabajaba como mecánico de helicópteros, y les mostré la foto a algunos pilotos. Se enojaron mucho conmigo y me dijeron que me fuera de la base, y que si alguna vez volvía allí, me informarían al Servicio de seguridad de la base. Un piloto me dijo que yo era un alborotador y que iba a decirle a la seguridad de la base mi dirección y enviarme a la cárcel. No fui a la cárcel y nadie me contactó sobre una foto.
Aproximadamente dos semanas después, le di la foto original a un hombre llamado Dr. Greer. Me dijo que tenía amigos cercanos que estudiarían la fotografía y que se pondría en contacto conmigo en aproximadamente dos semanas para contarme de qué se trataba. Nunca recibí una respuesta del Dr. Greer.
He intentado contactar al Dr. Greer en los últimos años, pero él nunca respondió mis llamadas telefónicas. También envié una copia al hombre, al doctor. Stanton Freidman. Me dijo que la foto era interesante.

Summary: I was taking photos of a double rainbow, just after a thunderstorm. I took several photos, about 6 . I was directly across the street from the national cometary. I did not notice the object when photographed. I took the film to be developed at the fox one hour kiosk in Albuquerque new Mexico. When I went through the photos is when I saw this object in just one photograph. I took the photo to sunspot observatory in new Mexico. They told me that I was about 500 feet from the object. They told me that the object was going at least 500 mph. They told me that shadows were consistent with all other objects in the photograph. They told me that the camera I was using, a Kodak instamatic, that this photograph could not have been faked. They told me not to show it to people, because I could get into trouble. I went to Kirtland air force base, where a friend of mine was a helicopter mechanic, and I showed the picture to some pilots. They became very angry with me, and told me to get the hell off the base, and that if I ever came back there again, they would report me to base security. One pilot told me that I was a troublemaker, and that he was going to inform base security of my address and have me put in jail. I did not go to jail, and no one ever contacted me about the photograph. About two weeks later, I gave the photograph, original, to a man named Dr. Greer. He told me that he had friends in the area that would examine the photo and that he would contact me in about two weeks to tell me about what it was. I never heard back from Dr. Greer. In the past years I have attempted to contact Dr. Greer, but he has never returned my phone calls. I also sent a copy to a man, Dr. Stanton Freidman. He told me that the photo was interesting.
