Gert Pretorius y su esposa, mientras viajaban en un automóvil, vieron un objeto iluminado brillante y redondo sobre el Oberg. Bajó y se colgó a unos pocos pies sobre el Suelo a unos 1.500 pies de distancia, y dos pequeños hombres de aproximadamente un metro de altura salieron de él, brillando en rojo. Tenían algo así como mochilas en la espalda, y todos parecían tener una linterna en la mano.
La "bola" iluminó el terreno en la montaña con una luz brillante como el día, que se apagó unos minutos más tarde y el objeto reapareció en el cielo.
Koos Kutzi también vio un OVNI, pero no vio a los habitantes. Le parecía con las piernas sobre las que descansaba el objeto.

Summary: Gert Pretorius and his wife, out for a drive, saw a brilliant round lighted object over Ouberg; it descended and hovered several feet above the ground about 1500 feet away and from it alighted two little men about a meter tall, of a luminous red color. They wore something like rucksacks on their backs, and each appeared to be carrying a flashlight in his hand. The “ball” lit up the area on the mountain bright as day; after several minutes the light went out, and the object reappeared in the sky. Koos Coetzee also saw the UFO, but did not see the occupants; it appeared to him like legs on which the object rested.
